GSK and PAPP Makes A Move Against Pneumonia

Children are said to be blessings from above whether you believe it or not, a child is precious to all people.But our children are in danger of having Pneumonia. If we don't have children vaccinated for pneumonia, the more they are in danger. According to a survey by Lancelot in 2010, pneumonia is the number one cause of death among Filipino children.

GlaxoSmithKline and the Philippine Academy of Pediatric Pulmonologists join forces to fight the threat of pneumonia through Move,a dance event against pneumonia. The mechanics has a worthy cause. For each dance participant, a child receives a vaccine for pneumonia. The participants present were composed of the doctors and media practitioners who gave a performance level for the cause with choreography of Joshua of the Maneuvers.

Last year's Move was participated doctors in three cities in Metro Manila and were able to vaccinate one thousand children. To know more about pneumonia, ask your pediatrician.
