If you were already a gamer back in the 80's, you know Prince of Persia. Playing with your keyboard on a b/w monitor trying to figure how to maneuver the prince to succeed the obstacle but when you fail you have to go through the obstacle again. The movie is based on the Playstation One game of the same name. Speaking of names, I found out that the game it was based on has no mention of the Prince's name as well as the villains except as Prince and the Vizier. The movie was also dragging at first after the first battle scenes. The quests and obstacles of the Prince also had a feel of an adventure game that we still enjoy. I wouldn't be surprised if there's another game in line for the Prince of Persia franchise soon. Since it's a Disney flick like Pirates, you won't expect violent fights and gruesome images here. Fun for a whole family to watch.
