Ever since a popular talent search show started, every Filipino got hooked up. Since then, dance contest have been sprouting anywhere. Whether it's on television or a town fiesta, dance groups composed of local youths will surely join. It is a good thing. Local youth are diverted from drugs or other bad vices for this.
Magnolia is also doing this deed for the communities. Magnolia will go to sixteen barangays all over Metro Manila and will see what that barangay can do. Last May 25, I got to see the first barangay Magnolia visited. I got to see five groups in Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon in Quezon City what they can do. It was set in the local barangay park. The groups were very competitive that they showed devotion in what they do that one performer got injured in one of the stunts his group performed.
I am not sure yet where's the next barangay or when but I hope they visit mine or at least the nearby barangay so they will have a chance to have opportunities for exposure.
