Movie Review: Going The Distance

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long in Going The Distance
Have you ever been in a long distance relationship? If yes, then this is a movie for you. Drew Barrymore reunites with fellow actor since "He's Not That Into You" and this time they are pairing up as the main characters of the story. I first saw Justin Long as the target under Bruce Willis' character in Die Hard 4.0 and later in the movie, "He's Not That Into You", also with Drew Barrymore. In his role as Garrett, I find his performance better because he has comical scenes which works well in tandem with Drew Barrymore rather than his previous role in "He's Not That Into You" which was more a serious role. He was perfect for the role. The character of Garrett didn't require a handsome actor but a more down-to-earth guy which suited Long.  I look forward to roles like this one for Justin Long. The pair up of Long and Barrymore was also great for the story. The story itself was very entertaining because of it's humor although it requires a mature audience to relate with. The conflict of the story was also a factor because the antagonists is not only the people close to the protagonists but also their current situation. This movie is a must for those who are in a relationship or even in marriage because this is not just a date movie/chick flick but also a good movie to gain insights for everyone whose undergoing the same struggles. Going The Distance is a New Line Cinema production and distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company. Opening on September 3 in all cinemas.
