Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning HBO Original Film GREY GARDENS will make its Asian television debut on Saturday, September 25 at 9:00 pm on HBO.
Based upon the 1973 documentary produced by filmmaker brothers Albert and David Masyles, director-writer Michael Sucsy's original story for GREY GARDENS offers a wry, behind-the scenes look at the strange world of Edith Ewing "Big Edie" and Edith "Little Edie" Bouvier Beale, two charming eccentric relatives of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, wife of John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States. Told over the span of four decades, the film focuses on their glamorous and well-heeled lives long before the making of the documentary, on the circumstances behind their riches-to-rags story. Golden Globe awardee Drew Barrymore and Emmy awardee Jessica Lange star as Little Edie and Big Edie respectively, bringing to life the Beale women's unique mother-daughter bond.
