WFP Philippines National Ambassador Against Hunger KC
Concepcion shows WFP’s solidarity with communities whose lives and livelihoods
have been highly affected by Typhoon Pablo. She will express support for
Philippine Government-led food relief operations in Barangay Cabinuangan, New
Bataan, Compostela Valley that are being conducted jointly with WFP. Ms.
Concepcion will help distribute DSWD relief packs to those currently staying in
the New Bataan Grandstand evacuation center.
This WFP assistance to the Philippine Government is
part of the larger United Nations effort to provide immediate lifesaving aid
and recovery support for persons who are most affected by Typhoon Bopha in the
Philippines.
