Putting on a Face: Choosing Proper Skin Remedies

Is that pimple putting a frown on your face? Pimples can be caused by anything from unhealthy eating to sleeping with an unwashed face after that Saturday night party. Many have tried different – if not weird – ways to rid their faces of the horrible mark.

Some have tried remedies succeed and live on to tell the tale – and recommend their remedy to everyone within hearing range. Other remedies don’t and those who failed shamefully live with the mark until the scar disappears after a few years, which should not be an option at all.

The simplest most devastating solution is to pop it. It is tempting – and a tad easier to do – to pop that zit and just go through the suffering of living a lifetime with the scar it leaves. Others try odd remedies like baking soda, toothpaste, aloe vera gel, orange peels and tomato masks.

The internet is filled to the brim with thousands of skin acne remedies ranging from the scientifically studied to the weird, gross and totally unexplainable. Remedies could also be just around the corner. You can even ask your mom or lola for your family’s secret recipe for acne, which may have been passed on from one generation to the next. The difference could lie in the freshness of the ingredients that they used, considering that our generation’s food may have been genetically developed in a laboratory or drowned in chemicals.

Your kitchen is also filled with skin remedies. Just as healthy foods help keep clear healthy skin, it can also remedy acne as it ensues.

However, more often than not, skin acne will not be solved by weird remedies you found on the internet. Sometimes, it even aggravates the problem. Acne becomes worse and bring with it complications worthy of a scene in the hospital’s emergency room.

It’s always smart to choose remedies and products with good healthy ingredients to put away acne effectively. Are you brave enough to try a home-made remedy yourself? Scour the internet, ask your family or even experiment with home-made skin remedies. Prove or maybe disprove that your trusted remedy is noteworthy enough to be passed on from one healthy skin lover to another.

Blog about it! Note down the entire process or better yet make a photo collage or a video of you doing the entire process of your chosen remedy and show the results.

Now more than ever is the best time to be a Truth Seeker. Seek the truth behind that secret family acne remedy or that facial mask recipe you found online and find out if it really is helping or diminishing your chances of having clear and healthy skin.

Your skin is worthy of a good healthy remedy. It’s up to you to choose the right recipes or products with good and proper ingredients. Choose wisely. Be a Truth Seeker.
