This is the first date movie for this year and Valentine's Day is about weeks away. But I don't see anything unique about it but it has a nice story. Although I still feel like it's a combination of Dying Young and Boomerang. The comical side of the movie still works for the audience. Some of the audience are still not used for her mature roles. They still see Hathaway in her Princess Mia image(of Princess' Diary). Maybe, they haven't seen her previous role in Brokeback Mountain which also starred Jake Gyllenhaal. Like I said, it's a date movie though it can still be enjoyed by non-couples. Love & Other Drugs opens January 26 in all cinemas by 20th Century Fox distributed by Warner Bros.
