Araneta Center always keeping up the Yuletide traditions for 20 years now. Following their annual Christmas tree lighting beside the Araneta Center, the Farmer's Market nearby lit up their Belen display for the Holiday season. After the mass held in front of the display, carols were sung followed by fireworks display as the Belen display was lit.
Local government officials led by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte participated in the launch. The Belen is one Christmas tradition that is originally Pinoy. It not only shows the Nativity scene but another significant occasion which is the Epiphany, the Visit of the Magi(Wise Men).
Besides the carols, fireworks, there is also the bazaar where you can buy anything Christmas like Bibingka, lanterns and more.
