Sykes' Christmas The Mardi Gras way

Mardi Gras is a French festival which begins on Ash Wednesday. It marks the last day of pigging out before start fasting on Holy Week. It also a time where there are colorful parades with costumes and carnivals. It was more popularized when it reach United States especially in the French quarter of New Orleans.

Here in the Philippines, Mardi Gras is not different. We also have colorful parades all through the year, all over the islands. Sykes, the pioneer call center industry in the Philippines, choose the Mardi Gras theme for their Christmas celebration so they will have a festive mood to celebrate Christmas. It is also the best time to reward the Sykes agents for what they worked hard for.

The event was also participated and prepared by Sykes employees. The floats and their costumes are all made by the employees. They paraded the grounds with such enthusiasm. There are also booths, gimmicks, raffle, and performance by Urbandub. Each float and parade participants are represented by the branch/office  and prizes were given to the best float and parade presentation.
