Discover the Flavors of Thailand at Marriott Cafe

There are two facts that I know about Thailand. Not only that they look similarly like us Filipinos but they are the only nation in Asia that was never conquered.
Deep fried pork canapes
Now, you can experience Thailand in Marriott Hotel Cafe an enjoy a cross-cultural experience with  the month-long Thai foodfest with the Flavors of Thailand. Marriott Cafe offers you the privilege to buffet with delicious Thai dishes.
Chef Thanathorn Krobsuay
The authentic Thai dishes are made possible by Thai chef Thanathorn Krobsuay of JW  Marriott Bangkok. Chef Thanathorn just flown away from his homeland just for the month for us to savor Thai dishes here in Marriott.
Tom yam goong soup
I suggest that you prepare yourself for this because some of the Thai dishes are really spicy but with nflavor. Even though it's spicy you can still savor the taste of the dishes. You can start with the piping hot tom yam goong soup(spicy prawn soup with lemon grass and galangal.
Phad Thai
Another Thai favorite is the Pad Thai(stir fried noodles with seafood), considered a national dish consists of fried noodles, eggs, bean sprouts, shrimp, and tofu combined with oriental ingredients such as tamarind juice, hot chili, and fish sauce.
Pumpkin with Thai Custard
If you have a sweet tooth, try the Pumpkin with Thai Custard to neutralize the spicy taste of the delicious Thai dishes.

Not only you can dine with delicious Thai dishes, diners who avail of the Flavors of Thailand buffet will get the chance to win a pair of roundtrip tickets to Thailand courtesy of Thai Airways and the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The prize trip includes a three-night stay with breakfast at the Rennaisance Koh, Samui Resort and Spa Thailand.

In addition to that, Chef Thanathorn will conduct a free cooking class on 2:30PM August 12 at Marriott Cafe  upon reservation and presentation of receipt.
