The Open Category calls for new work that responds to a brief based on this year's theme "Inspiring Humanity Through Design". The Mobile App for Social Good category, on the other hand, will recognize entries in the mobile app category that presents creative solutions to social issues or problems.
aDAA not only trains the spotlight on the region’s best designers, but also provides them the opportunity to learn from design masters in a series of talks and workshops. The D&AD Workshop will feature hands-on sessions where the participants themselves innovate, make, and play, with each stage an hour-long session.
