signals the end of summer and the ‘Ber’ months usher the way to the forthcoming
joyous Holidays. But this early, Dell brings early Yuletide cheer to some of
its lucky patrons when it formally closed its summer bonanza very recently.

Simply
dubbed “Upgrade your Drive with Dell,”
the promotion ran from March 15 through June 30. The raffle mechanics was very
simple: For every purchase of any Dell participating product, a customer earns
one raffle ticket. But aside from joining the raffle, every customer also had
the chance of winning an instant prize as the raffle ticket also served as a
scratch card.
During
the 3 month promotion, Dell gave out instant prizes as well. Some of the prizes
were won by lucky Dell notebook buyers included 300 pesos worth of Sodexo Meal
and Food Pass vouchers; 500 pesos worth of Sodexo Premium Passes; 1,000 pesos
worth of Havaianas Flip Flops vouchers; WD My Passport 500GB external drive; a
WD TV Live Hub 1TB media player; a Nikon S82 Digital Camera; and Oakley Sports
Sunglasses for Men.
The
grand raffle winners were Jessie Dominguez and Atty. Ferdinand Mangahas who won
for themselves a Dell Inspiron 2320 notebook while Vergil Bergola won for
himself a Dell XPS Ultrabook!
Other
winners include Ailenejoy Omega, James Virtusio and Ferdie Fajardo each won a
Nikon D3100 DSLR camera. Jomar Malimban went home with a Misibis Bay vacation
package for two!
And
rounding up the list of lucky winners was Arvin Alitagtag, who proved to be the
luckiest by winning a brand-new Ford Fiesta Hatch vehicle. The 30-year-old
administrative assistant from PLDT simply got a Dell product because it was
recommended to him by friends who all said that the brand was known for its
quality products. And speaking of beginner’s luck, the newly- wed groom to
bride Margarita Alitagtag was in fact a first-time user of a Dell product.
Drawn
in the presence of Dell executives and a DTI representative, the grand draw was
held last July 10 at the Dell office in Libis, Quezon City. The awarding of
prizes took place last August 23 at the Ford Showroom in Bonifacio Global City.
