Frenzy UFlair Bartending Competition Ends

Bottles tossed and spirits fills up the glasses as Frenzy ends the UFlair Bartending Competition Grand Finals held at Dolce Superclub last September 7. Thirteen finalists from different campuses are showing off what they got in the final leg of the competition. The twelve were selected after three elimination rounds and one was selected as a wild card to join the final round.

Like in the elimination, each participant is given limited time to prepare a drink using 2 ingredients picked by the participant randomly from a fishbowl. For the grand finals, they were also given additional task for bonus points. After the thirteen drink entries were done, the tension increased as the special awards were named followed by the winners. The category of the judges decision was based on the concoction, the flairing techniques and the audience impact which mostly came from the supporters of each participating flair bartender.
Judges

The frenziest flair award  was given to Dominique Palileo of University of Perpetual Help Laguna. Jayson De Jesus of Lyceum of the Philippines got the most number of online votes and on-site votes. On-site voting privileges are given when purchasing Frenzy Condoms.
Hosts

The runner up awards were given to Russel Jerard Osuna for the 2nd runner up and Samuel Alcantara for 1st Runner Up who also got a special award for the Frenziest Mix or the best concoction of the night. Paulo Eiron Layao of TRIMEX Institute of Science and Technology Laguna bags the most points as he was declared the first Frenzy UFlair Bartending Champion.
“We are deeply overwhelmed with the reception and the support given by the students from the elimination rounds until the finals night,” according to Norman Campoy, Frenzy Condoms product manager. He adds, “We congratulate and thank everyone for showing outstanding talents. Everyone should continue to expect that the fun will never end with Frenzy.”
