There’s going to be a real showdown for all the major races this
year – liking, anticipating, and buzzing – worthy of Golden Globe, Screen
Actors, and the Grammys Awards.

This is part of Colours Glamfest campaign, which began its airing of last
year’s American Music Awards and Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and the recent
Golden Globe Awards.
In this year’s 71st annual Golden Globe Awards that
aired live last January 13, at 9am, audiences and nominees held a tight grip on
their seats as the winners were announced. Among the major awards, it was 12
Years a Slave that stood out, winning Best Motion Picture (Drama), while the
Best Actor and Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) Awards were given to Matthew
McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) and Cate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine)
respectively. Jennifer Lawrence (American Hustle) and Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers
Club) took the awards for Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor in
a Motion Picture. For the major TV awards, Breaking Bad was held as Best TV
Series (Drama), while the Best Actor and Actress (Drama) were awarded to Bryan
Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Robin Wright (House of Cards) – it was definitely a
night filled with celebration.
The 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Actors (SAG)
Awards hits the screens on January 19, at 9am for outstanding performances in
2013 in five film and eight television categories as well as the SAG Awards
honors for outstanding action performances by film and television stunt
ensembles.

What is truly remarkable is the variety of sounds that will be
in contention at the 56th Grammy Awards, which will be aired live on
January 27 at 9am). Daft Punk, Imagine Dragons, Bruno Mars, Macklemore &
Ryan Lewis and Kings of Leon are among them. Few girls made it – Taylor Swift,
Pink, Katy Perry, Sara Bareilles, Fantasia, and Lana del Rey. There’s also
Lorde, the 18-year-old sensation from New Zealand, truly a breath of fresh air
with her debut Royals.
The other biggies are rapper Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell
Williams and newcomers Kendrick Lamar and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis who are
also up for Album of the Year and Best New Artist of the Year Grammys.
Other nominees for General Field, Pop and Rock categories are up
for grabs at the 56th Grammy Awards.
Katy Perry and Lorde will grace the stage with smashing
performance numbers. Viewers can also expect special performances from
Metallica together with Lang Lang, while Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams,
Stevie Wonder will join Daft Punk in a unique number. Last but not the least,
Robin Thicke will surely entertain the audience with his collaborative
performance together with Chicago. These production and performance numbers
truly make this event a difficult one to miss.
