The Ayala Streets Lights Up Again For The Holidays

We all have yearly traditions. For me, I go to Ayala Triangle in Makati to see the lights that extends from Paseo De Roxas, Makati avenue and Ayala Avenue for the holiday season. This year, the theme is church altars of five Philippine churches like San Sebastian in Manila, San Miguel Archangel in Cebu, Molo Church in Iloilo, Immaculate Concepcion in Jasaan, Northern Mindanao and the Sanctuario de San Antonio in Makati.

It followed suit after previous year when the church structure was the theme. In addition of the altars, there are also Pinoy Christmas themed totems. This was designed by Zenas Pineda, a seasoned interior designer specializing in visual merchandising, who has been designing for Ayala Land street lights for seven years now.

This coming Friday night, the Ayala Triangle will once again feature the lights and sounds show and for the first time, it's a Disney theme.

Ayala-Makati Commercial District Lights Up The Streets Once Again For The Holidays

Every year on holiday season, the Ayala commercial district in Makati always lights up and displays the holiday spirit in the buildings and the streets along Ayala Avenue, Makati Avenue and Paseo de Roxas.  Last year, the display along the street isle was old Roman Catholic Churches including my hometown Lucban church. It follows suit once again as the streets mentioned are lit up inspired by the design of church stain glasses.

Stain glasses are unique among old churches especially the traditional ones. It sets a church a landmark identity that its own.  You will also notice that there is a functioning windmill type of display that will move when the wind current is strong. Ayala Center uses LED lights so it is environment friendly and no trees are harmed for the duration of the display especially the upcoming Festival Of Lights this 15^th of November.

Coca Cola Lights Up Your Christmas Season

Christmas is always a tradition Cubao is preparing for and so is Coca Cola. Coca Cola teamed up with Araneta Center for the launch and the ceremonial lighting up of the Christmas Tree last November 12 at the Araneta Coliseum parking lot. The event kicked off starting with the Christmas Caravan with the Coca Cola Ambassadors Enchong Dee and Kim Chiu with the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010 housemates.

The parking lot was  also busy with games and photo ops as if you are in your college days. The main event was hosted by Nicole Hiyala and Chris Tsuper and featured many performances from your favorite Kapamilya stars and of course, the main attraction, the Light Up and Sound Display of this year's Christmas Tree. The commercial segments for the Coca Cola Christmas theme was also revealed at the event.

Also, it was the best way to promote the latest Coca Cola promotion: The Contour Glass. You can get the contour glasses at your nearest 7-11 outlets, sari-sari stores or public markets and Coca Cola Sales offices nationwide when you buy Coca Cola, Coke Light, Coke Zero, Sprite or Royal Tru Orange in any 500ml, 750ml, 1L, 1.5L, and 2L packs. Look under the Santa caps for the "Coke Glass" text and collect 2 more regular Coca Cola Santa caps and exchange these caps for one Contour Glass.
