Last May 15, 2009, Mark Cerbo and I went to A Venue in Makati to witness launching of SciFi Channel in the Philippines. It was a dream come thrue for any SciFi fan because SciFi is still not known in the Phillipines. With the latest Star Trek making box office hit, it is also timely because SciFi channel is also showing Star Trek The Next Generation series. Along with it's launch, the local SciFi will features new,hot series like Sanctuary and Samurai Girl as well as old favorites like Stargate:SG-1, Quantum Leap and the remake series,Battlestar Galactica and more.
