AirAsia launched the #HowIFly campaign, a social media advocacy that encourages and educates  everyone on how to be responsible travelers as they discover new destinations.

Palawan known as “The Last Frontier”, is a familiar travel destination as it is home to rich rainforests, scenic diving sites, primeval caves and beautiful beaches. Unknown to many, Palawan also hosts one of the largest areas of pearl farming – a unique industry in the country. This makes a necessity for the local community to be a prime mover of sustainability to balance conservation and progress. One of the key players in pearl farming in Palawan is Jewelmer, a leading jewelry company that takes sustainability at the heart of its operations.

Learn more about the beauty of pearl farming, the role of the business community on environmental protection and the AirAsia’s #HowIFly campaign at the next episode of AirAsia’s “Red Talks with Daphne”, hosted by award-winning TV host and producer, Daphne OseƱa-Paez. Entitled Destination: Harmony, it will talk about pearl production, and delves into the ongoing campaign to protect Palawan’s marine biodiversity through responsible eco-tourism and the AirAsia’s continued advocacy in educating people to be responsible travelers.

Red Talks with Daphne’s 5th episode will be available on AirAsia Philippines’ Facebook page at www.facebook.com/airasiaph on May 20, 2017.

AirAsia, voted the world's best low cost carrier for eight consecutive years by Skytrax, produced a 6-part web series featuring some of Asia’s best-kept attractions, rich cultural heritage, and inside stories about people and the airline that broke travel norms and made flying possible for everyone across Asia and beyond.

AirAsia produces webisodes Red Talks with Daphne

We usually are drawn to photos of people who are able to visit tourist destinations not just locally but also abroad. When we saw these photos, we are determined to find out more about the place but most of the time, we cannot get much information.
Pilot episode viewed on a movie screen

Red Talks with Daphne is a series of webisodes produced by AirAsia featuring travel destinations around destinations where AirAsia usually goes. Hosted by our very own Daphne Osena-Paez, the pilot episode starts with AirAsia and its owner Tony Fernades.

After learning about Mr. Fernades and AirAsia, Daphne will tour Kuala Lumpur’s historical locations and the silversmiths outside from places not usually listed in your itineraries. What makes this webisodes good is that it is like a travel magazine only more visual and it can be viewed online at AirAsia Facebook page.

The good thing about putting a series of talk shows about travel in a Facebook page, you can view it again and again whenever you are online and most of the netizens are in Facebook. Plus, you can also comment about the episode.

You can watch Red Talks With Daphne at AirAsia's Facebook page. For more blog updates about AirAsia, follow this blog and like L.E.N.S. blogs on Facebook.
