Varekai: Cirque Du Soleil Live In Manila

Teaser performance of Varekai by Cirque Du Soleil
When I first heard about Cirque Du Soleil is that they perform regularly in Las Vegas. It was my sister, who has a background in ballet, told me that they were more than that. They are performing circus acts for the longest time and they are already in history as the best in what they do.

Cirque Du Soleil started as a group of 20 street performers in 1984, Cirque Du Soleil is based in Quebec, Canada providing quality performance. Now, with 5,000 employees including 1,200 artists coming from different countries, Cirque Du Soleil has been performing around the world. I was enticed by their performance during their press launch even if it was only for a few minutes. I assure you that those few minutes were worthwhile and what more if you are going to watch their actual show.

Hoopla and Manila Hotel is bringing this world-class performers for the first time in Manila and even in the Southeast Asian Region. The show marks the 100th year anniversary of the Manila Hotel. For us here in the Philippines, its very rare to watch these performances without leaving the country and book a flight to Las Vegas and stay in a hotel. For our Southeast Asian neighbors, it is also convenient since you won't need to travel to another country with a different timezone.

Cirque Du Soleil will only perform for a limited time starting June 22 - July 8, 2011 under the Blue-and-Yellow Grand Chapiteau(Big Top) across Quirino Grandstand in Luneta. Tickets are now available at Hoopla's online box office. For inquiries, you may call 775-0939, 881-0947, 0919-4508125, 0917-4436463. Check out the Cirque Du Soleil official website.
