Sex and The City 2 brings back Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha on the silver screen. On the sequel, as you may have seen on the trailer, the girls went for a break from their individual commitments to Abu Dhabi and Carrie's unexpected encounter with Aidan.
When the series first started, series didn't just focused on the four major characters, nor the dresses. The star of the show was New York City. The series was not about sex. It's finding love in a big city like New York. That's why Carrie always narrates her write-ups in her column of the same title. The sequels continues about the struggles of these diversed-individually but colorful women.
I found the sequel better because it had more laughs but knowing that the struggles of the ladies are as real as it can. These powerful characters may have succeeded their conflicts one after another, they just prove that they always have obstacles in their relationships that needed overcome. That is why as long as Candice Bushnell writes about relationships in her real-life Sex & the City, there always ideas of individual struggles about it. There is always a reference material for the movie. There were also funny moments from new characters.
The original casts reprises their roles with cameo appearances by Liza Minelli, Miley Cyrus, and more!
